Re-examination Policy

Qualifying Examination (QE)

The Candidate who fails the QE can retake the examination annually within their five- or eight-year eligibility period.

The Candidate must be successful with the QE prior to sitting for the OCE.


Oral Clincial Examination (OCE)

The Candidate who fails the OCE can retake the examination annually within their five- or eight-year eligibility period.

Renewal of Certification Exam(ROC)
The ROC exam is the third part of the ROC-P and is required to be completed prior to the Diplomates ten year anniversary.  The examination may be taken as often as needed, but must be completed prior the the ten year anniversary.
