New Continuous Quality Improvement Modules Added
Evidence of Evaluation of Performance in Practice is obtained by completion of Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) modules. Diplomates are required to successfully complete 2 annually. These modules are either question/answer or case scenario-based modules from the AAPD Guidelines and Policies and their associated references.
The American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) has established 80% as a benchmark that demonstrates minimum competency for Diplomates. A Diplomate will have 2 opportunities to successfully complete a CQI. If 80 % is not achieved by the second attempt, they will need to choose another CQI to complete.
Since January 1, 2018, ABPD has released the following CQI Modules:
Upon successful completion of a CQI, one (1) CE hour is awarded and is automatically recorded on your dashboard. Stay tuned for new CQI modules to be released throughout the year. For questions regarding CQI Modules, please contact ABPD at firstname.lastname@example.org.« back to listing
