Dr. Greg Olson is an associate professor in the Loma Linda University Health (LLUH) School of Dentistry. A dual-trained orthodontist/pediatric dentist, he teaches in both graduate and pre-doctoral programs. Prior to his current appointments, he owned a private pediatric practice on Whidbey Island in Washington State.
Dr. Olson is passionate about advocacy and holds a Faculty Scholar appointment in the LLUH Institute for Health Policy and Leadership. Having completed a policy fellowship with the American Dental Education Association, he remains active with their Legislative Advisory Council and building alliances that support pediatric oral health.
Dr. Olson was Board Certified in 2006 and has been involved with the ABPD since 2012. He has been an exam-item writer, part leader, and, most recently, chair of the Renewal of Certification Process Subcommittee. He is particularly interested in researching and measuring the impact the board process and continued learning have on ABPD Diplomates and their patients.
