ExploreProgram Directors Committee
The Program Directors Committee promotes transparency, communication, and collaboration between ABPD and pediatric dental residency program directors and faculty. To serve as chair of this committee, you must be a pediatric dentistry program director or department chair. The program directors committee is seeking a chair.

Standards for International Eligibility Task Force
The charge of this task force is to re-evaluate current international pathways to determine if foreign-trained pediatric dentists should be eligible to obtain board certification without completing a CODA-accredited residency program. If an international pathway is recommended, define the criteria for eligibility for the pathway for board of directors’ consideration. The Standards for International Eligibility Task Force is seeking members.

Standards for Re-entry Task Force
The charge of this task force is to create standards for re-entry into the board certification process for pediatric dentists who have failed to obtain board certification within their eligibility period. Desirable attributes include knowledge of medical certification board eligibility and pathways and knowledge of educational science including the concept of cognitive drift. The Standards for Re-entry Task Force is seeking a chair and members.
