Join the Directors and Staff of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) in congratulating Dr. Rochelle “Shelley” Lindemeyer for being selected as the Vice Chair of the Qualifying Examination (QE). Shelley was board certified in 1989 and has been an active participant with the ABPD. She has served as an Examiner for the Oral Clinical Examination since 2008. She has also served as a Committee Member, Part Leader and now the Vice Chair of the QE Committee.

Dr. Lindemeyer graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1977 and earned a Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, University of Pennsylvania in 1979. Shelley began her academic career serving as Director of Pediatric Dentistry at the Temple University Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry. She joined the University of Penna in 2002 and restored the combined Pediatric Residency Program of Penn and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, where she served as Director until 2016. Dr. Lindemeyer continues her research, teaches part-time and serves as an Attending Dentist at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Operating Room and the Dental Clinic at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a consultant to the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association, and treasurer of the Philadelphia County Dental Society. Shelley’s honors include membership in Omicron Kappa Upsilon, the national dental honor society, fellowships in the International and American College of Dentists, and recognition in Philadelphia magazine as Top Dentist.

​In her spare time, Dr. Lindemeyer enjoys woodworking, traveling, riding on her jet ski and spending as much time as her schedule allows at her beach house in Ocean City, NJ.
