Join the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry (ABPD) in congratulating Dr. Nancy Rajchel for being selected as the Vice Chair of the Renewal of Certification Process (ROC-P) Committee. Dr. Rajchel achieved Board Certification in 2000 and has been a committed ABPD volunteer. She has served as an Examiner for the ABPD Oral Clinical Examination (OCE) since 2010, a member of the Examination Committee since 2012, and now as Vice Chair of the ROC Committee.

​“Dr. Rajchel's years of experience in writing for the ROC exam, coupled with her current knowledge and vast clinical experience in the practice setting makes her a great fit as Vice Chair.  I value her input and leadership as a peer, clinician and personal friend,” stated Dr. Andrea Gonzales, Chair on the ROC-P Committee. ABPD Directors are delighted to have Dr. Rajchel share her knowledge and expertise through her new role.  

After receiving her dental degree from Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Dr. Rajchel chose to pursue a specialty in pediatric dentistry, completing a two-year pediatric dentistry residency at Baylor College of Dentistry, Children’s Medical Center and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital in Dallas. In 1992, she joined in private practice with Dr. Dwight Ashby and Dr. Jim Kearns in Mechanicsburg, PA. Dr. Rajchel now practices with Dr. Jim Kearn’s son, Dr. Jeffrey Kearns, and Dr. Madhur Patil. Dr. Rajchel maintains staff privileges at the West Shore Surgery Center. She is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Pennsylvania Association of Pediatric Dentists, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Harrisburg Area Dental Society.

​Dr. Rajchel has two children; a son and a daughter. She maintains a healthy lifestyle working out at the gym and enjoys camping, fishing, traveling, and reading in her spare time.
