Can you provide me with a verification letter?

  • Credentialing agencies can download an official verification letter through our website for a fee of $60.
  • Diplomates and candidates currently in the certification process can download a verification letter from your ABPD dashboard. Please click on the “Verification” link.

How do I change my name on my profile?

To change your name, please email your request to info@abpd.org. 

I need to change my password/my account is locked:

Tried to reset your password but no email was received?  

  • Make sure the email address you enter to reset your password matches the email address on your ABPD account. If you are still unsuccessful, please contact our office by phone or email. 

  • Make sure to search your email (including all junk mail folders) for info@abpd.org. If you have never received an email from this address, you likely have used a different address for your ROC-P account.  

My account is locked. 

  • If your account is locked, you will need to contact our office by phone or email. 

2025 Certifications and Renewals

Can I still renew for 2025? 

  •  The 2025 renewal cycle is closed. Please contact our office by phone or email for assistance.  

Did my 2025 renewal go through?  

  • To verify that your renewal is up to date, please look on your dashboard at the Recertification Date.

I completed my 2025 requirements but have not received a card for my certificate frame. 

  • We no longer send out yearly cards with renewal dates. If you did not request an evergreen card to put in your frame but would like one, please reach out to our office by phone or email. 

Continuing Education (CE)

I cannot find older CE that I have entered. Where is it? 

  • To find a transcript of all CE that has been entered into your ROC-P account, please click on “My Transcript” under the LMS menu at the top of your dashboard.

Can you give me access to/sign up for this CE? 

  • We do not offer any CE classes or webinars.  

Board Candidacy 

Who has to submit a Board Candidacy Application? 

  • All candidates must submit a Board Candidacy application after passing the Qualifying Examination. 

When is the Board Candidacy Application due? 

  • The BC Application is due on December 30. 

Did I submit it? I can’t remember. 

  •  To see if you submitted the BC application, from your ABPD account dashboard click on “My Application History” under the “History” tab

Qualifying Examination

Can I still register for the QE? 

  • The application closed on December 15. Please contact the office with any questions.

Oral Clinical Examination (OCE)

  • The 2026 OCE will take place in Raleigh, NC, October 5-9.  

How do I register or apply for the OCE? 

  • The application will open on January 6, 2026, will close on January 20, and will be on the ABPD dashboard of eligible Candidates.  

Does the exam fill up? Is there a waitlist? 

  • There are a limited number of spots available, and once those are filled, candidates will be placed on a waitlist. Candidates will not be charged for a spot on the waitlist and will be notified prior to being moved off of the waitlist.  

Can I request a day or time for my OCE? 

  • Examination spots will be randomly assigned. Please contact the office with any questions.
